Marie Colturi’s career spans industries and sectors, roles and responsibilities. Through it all, she has consistently created common value, which she now offers to organizations through The Colturi Group. Marie operates with strategy in mind — considering the interplay of project elements and partnerships, setting achievable priorities, and leveraging best practices toward an integrated solution. Marie comes alongside teams to help them refine their vision, qualify and pursue it, and make it happen.
Marie’s professional roots are in marketing and communications, and she’s designed and implemented strategies that have supported the achievement of objectives for corporate, association, public, and philanthropic establishments. She continues to love the crafting of a comprehensive communications plan, and to see the impact that clarity affords to colleagues, customers, community members, and beyond.
Marie invests continually in her own education and growth. She has earned a Certificate in Corporate Citizenship Practice from Boston College, and has completed the Leadership Fairfax Institute program. She is devoted to the advancement of her local Northern Virginia community and to the flourishing of the arts, providing expertise as a volunteer grant reviewer and creating beautiful music as a choral artist.
Just as Marie advances the arts by serving both as tactician (vocalist) and strategist (reviewer of grants for the National Endowment for the Arts), she advances the objectives of organizations by digging into the details of planning and programming while keeping the big picture ever in mind.
